Figures |
| LaTeX provides the commands \begin{figure} and \end{figure} to insert figures in a document. You can click on  Insert to insert a figure in a document using TexLab. After inserting the figure, the Figure Wizard will open.LaTeX proporciona los comandos \begin{figure} y \end{figure} para insertar figuras en un documento. Bitmaps |
A bitmap (BMP, GIF, JPG or PNG) is an image that stores the values of each pixel in an image, they have a fixed resolution. The main problem of an bitmap is that they need to have a high resolution so that they look good when they are printed. You should use a bitmap for photographs only. To insert a bitmap in LaTeX, you need to export the image to EPS. Use the  Convert Image to convert an image to EPS. Note that converting a bitmap to EPS will not improve the resolution of the original image. You can also use the options Copy and Paste to insert an image.Un mapa de bits (BMP, GIF, JPG or PNG) es una imágen que almacena el valor de cada pixel en una imagen, estas tiene una resolución fija. El problema principal de un mapa de bits, es que estos mapas tiene que tener una resolución alta para que se vean bien cuando se impriman. Usted debería de usar los mapas de bits para fotografías solamente. Par insertar un mapa de bits en LaTeX, usted necesita exportar la imagen a EPS. Use la Convert Image para convertir una imagen a EPS. Note que convertir un mapa de bits a EPS no mejorará la resolución de la imagen original. Vector Graphics |
| A vector graphics (EPS, SVG, CDR, EMF) is a graphic that is stored as a sequence of commands that describes the image. Vector graphics are perfect for diagrams, schematics or engineering figures. You should try to use vector graphics in a LaTeX document for your figures. You can create a vector graphics image using Corel Draw or Inkscape (free software). Un gráfico vectorial (EPS, SVG, CDR, EMF) es un gráfico que es almacenado como una secuencia de comandos que describen la imagen. Los gráficos vectoriales son perfectos para diagramas, esquemas o figuras en ingeniería. Usted debería tratar de usar gráficos vectoriales en un documento en LaTeX para sus figures. Usted puede crear una imagen con gráficos vectoriales usando Corel Draw o Inkscape (software libre.) |
